WASHINGTON, D.C. — The annual Adams Morgan Day Festival will close part of 18th Street NW to vehicle traffic on Sunday, September 13, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Emergency no-parking restrictions and the street closure are scheduled from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on 18th Street between Columbia Road and Kalorama Road NW.
MPD said closure times may change based on conditions. Vehicles parked in violation of posted emergency no-parking signs may be ticketed and towed.
Drivers may encounter delays near the festival and should consider alternate routes. Police and the District Department of Transportation also urged motorists to use caution because increased pedestrian traffic is expected.
