WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Metropolitan Police Department says a Maryland man has been arrested and charged in connection with three burglaries at a Northwest Washington nightclub this month.
Police said the first burglary occurred at approximately 8:39 a.m. Saturday, September 5, when a suspect forced entry into a closed business in the 1000 block of Vermont Avenue NW, took property and fled. MPD listed that case as CCN 26126303.
A second burglary was reported at the same business at approximately 9:58 a.m. Wednesday, September 9. Investigators said the suspect entered the closed business, took property and fled. That case is listed as CCN 26128209.
According to MPD, a third incident occurred at approximately 9:53 a.m. Saturday, September 12, after the suspect claimed a roof leak needed to be repaired, entered the business, took property and left. Police listed that case as CCN 26129969.
Second District detectives identified a suspect through investigative leads and security-camera footage, the department said. Police arrested 42-year-old Reginald Ivan Ross of Laurel, Maryland, on September 15 and charged him with three counts of second-degree burglary.
The charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
