WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects in a Northwest Washington shooting that left one person with a graze wound.
Police said the suspects arrived on a moped in the 2200 block of Flagler Place NW at approximately 7:46 p.m. Saturday, September 12. They got off the moped and fired in the direction of one victim, striking a second person, according to MPD.
The second victim was treated at the scene for a graze wound. Police said the suspects then fled on the moped.
MPD released surveillance footage of the suspects and asked anyone who recognizes them or has information about the case to avoid taking action and instead call police at 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. The department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in a District crime.
The case is listed under CCN 26130227. No arrests had been announced in the official release.
