WASHINGTON, D.C. — Metropolitan Police are asking the public to help identify a suspect in an armed robbery at a Northwest Washington skate park.
Third District officers responded at about 8:22 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, to the skate park in the 1500 block of 11th Street NW, according to an MPD release issued Friday.
Police said the suspect approached three adult men, held them at gunpoint and demanded money. No property was taken, and none of the victims was injured.
The suspect left the area in a gray Lexus sedan before officers arrived, MPD said. Police released video and a photograph of the person they are seeking.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the incident is asked not to take action, but to call police at 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. MPD offers a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in a violent crime committed in the District.
The case is identified as CCN 26106080.
