WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are seeking three suspects after a man was robbed at gunpoint on L Street Northwest on Wednesday afternoon.
First District officers responded to the unit block of L Street NW at about 1:34 p.m. on September 23. Three suspects on two electric scooters approached the victim, police said. One displayed a firearm, restrained the victim and demanded his property. The suspects fled on the scooters after he complied.
Nearby surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects. Police have not announced arrests in the case, which is recorded as CCN 26136084.
Anyone with information is asked not to approach the suspects and instead to call police at (202) 727-9099 or text 50411. Police say a reward of up to $10,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest and indictment in a District crime.
