WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Metropolitan Police Department says a second suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting on Elvans Road SE.
According to MPD, Seventh District officers responded at about 7:02 p.m. on March 20, 2025, to the 2400 block of Elvans Road SE for a report of a shooting. Officers found 25-year-old Tre’von Norman, of Waldorf, Maryland, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts.
Police said 27-year-old Corey Noble, of Southeast D.C., was arrested in November 2025 pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court warrant and charged with first-degree murder while armed, felony murder.
MPD said 26-year-old Zion Humphrey, of Capitol Heights, Maryland, was extradited Tuesday after being in Prince George’s County custody. Humphrey has also been charged with first-degree murder while armed, felony murder.
The case is listed by MPD under CCN 25040405. The department announced the latest arrest in a July 7 release.
