WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Metropolitan Police Department said it arrested a suspect Tuesday in connection with a 2025 robbery on 7th Street NW.
Police said the robbery happened around 3:15 a.m. on May 19, 2025, in the 1700 block of 7th Street NW. According to MPD, the suspect and victim were speaking before the victim turned to leave and was assaulted. A second suspect then joined the assault, and the suspects took property from the victim before fleeing.
MPD said 21-year-old Madison Bartlett, of no fixed address, was arrested July 7 pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant and charged with robbery by force and violence.
The case remains under investigation. Police asked anyone with information to call (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. MPD said a reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest and conviction in violent crime cases in the District.
